ARTIST'S STATEMENT

"My mission is to inspire a sense of wonder about the world around us. Too often, we lose this as life goes by, as if the world turns dull and grey. I've always practiced art to remind myself and others that there's magic to be found in our daily lives. All we have to do is look. My art and designs attempt to capture that magic through an abstract, whimsical lens. Leaning on my graphic design background, I map compositions with simple lines and shapes brought to life by vibrant color. In some cases, it's enjoyable for me to stretch reality, creating little worlds of my own, drawing inspiration from travel, books, and the amazing places I've been lucky enough to call home.
